The first show of 2012 is truly outstanding.
First, we had three weeks of topics to choose from. Second, we had amazing panelists. And third, I was rested enough from the break to dive in with gusto.
So in other words, this didn't suck.
I have to admit, though, for a January 1st recording date this panel was surprisingly alert and engaged. They either didn't party enough, or they were all Louis C.K. fans. And on that point, don't mind my inability to say "louie." It's just a thing with me.
Hope you enjoy the program. And please remember, I'd love some more Twitter followers to continue the conversation there. Just follow @TheBeanCast.

Comment by Danny Starr on January 3, 2012 at 11:11am The Louis C.K. story is really interesting, thanks for covering on the show. There is a great discussion between ESPN's Bill Simmons and Louis C.K. about it, in two parts, on the B.S. Report on 12/15. C.K's side of the story is interesting because C.K. does so much more than just distribute on his own.. he does almost everything on his own including editing.

Also really interesting about how he plans on throwing out his material every year... talk about putting your money where your mouth is!
