We try hard on The BeanCast not to let the guests hijack the show's content with their self-promotion. Like a wild Mustang at a Fiesta, we Focus only on the content at hand and blend a Fusion of the best marketing stories. And being a Taurus, you can bet I remain stubbornly on the bleeding Edge of this effort, much as the Explorer Richard Byrd would never have turned back from his south pole Expedition. In short, I am inFLEXible about keeping my show free of guest promotion.

I think I've made my point.

As usual, I'd also love to have you as a Twitter follower. I'm TheBeanCast. Thanks for listening and please add a positive review to iTunes if you like the show.

Bob, I can't believe your fans would afFORD you such a high degree of product placement puns without some repercussions. Maybe you should be looking for an Escape route. ;-)

I think I'm okay according FCC guideline F-150.

I feel like the mid-level brands need to whore out the logo because they have nothing else. Abercrombie and Fitch doesn't make better clothes then target, so they sell the Abercrombie and Fitch "Lifestyle". Someone buying Maison Martin Margiela or Raf Simons knows that they're items are high-quality made in italy. If the high end wants to brand whore I'm sure that Gucci or Louis Vuitton (or the horde of fakes) are willing to supply you with that.

On the other hand, I Believe that FCC guideline F-150 excludes stupid puns and only extends to outright bribery. Hey scott, you know it's my 16th birthday in a month or so.

@Lynx: Looks like you'd better start saving up for that new Ford! ;-)

I've got my '95 Camry, so I'm good for another 20 or so years. Not so sure how long a mustang'd last.

I can speak from personal experience that if I hadn't have hit that telephone pole my mustang would still be running. :p

(corrected my name version)
Location based anything - Short and sweet; I search and disable location on all devices. Will never use any service or app that uses location.

I have Senate Commerce Committee on privacy on DVR [thanks CSPAN] and twittered the high points. So, without making this a list of twitter messages - Words like "creepy" out of a senator's mouth is a heads up. Coupons too.
A Tweet: CSPAN internet privacy - Apple explaining i-ads. OPTIN-OPTOUT on location causes Apple (Guy Tribble, VP of Software Technology) too stammer

Ford - Love you! Go John Force [NHRA] in his Mustang. Also, Explorer is wife's new car p0rn. She is buying in 2913/14, better have high speed internet by then.

ToDo: Making a HighTechCat blog entry out of Senate panel; Apple, Google, Facebook, AT&T tweets [tweet when it is done. Don't hold breath search with string CSPAN internet privacy | Twitter @fairuse].

Product puns are a snapshot into the minds of experts. How the pun is constructed & context for pun is an important aspect of Social. I could be Taurus [X] like and chastise, but that is futile in this environment. Thanks Mr Scott for planting seed; never thought much about puns/social.
