Once more I assemble the team of Angela, Bill and John — and hey did NOT disappoint!
This is one of my favorites groups to get together, because they always bring a great mix of knowledgeable insight mixed with lots of fun along the way. There's never a dull moment and it's always hard to edit the show because I'm laughing at every part I hear.

It's so hard to remember all of the comments that need to be written when you are walking while listening! But the Facebook shopping topic was of particular interest. Social shopping is absolutely gaining traction .. "pay for performance" or affiliate links are cost effective ways for all parties in a transaction to monetize content, and add the peer to peer influence into that equation and you have a great business model. A friend has developed a shoe shopping site with community in mind that has grown tremendously, members helping members find the best shoes .. Facebook could negotiate serious affiliate commissions, plus the margin on converting Facebook currency, and very quickly grow a lucrative revenue model.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Keeping up with all the ECHO judging stuff took up too much time. But I did want to say I think you're totally right. I found that particular discussion to be completely fascinating and probably not too far off the mark. And as your comments prove, there's more depth here than most of realize. We only scratched the surface with our debate.
