Let's Meet In Winston-Salem

I've been neglecting my promotional responsibilities! Bad marketing podcast host! You and your silly BeanCast.

First, some explaining: the blog has been a bit quiet this week for good reason. I've been preparing to speak at the local AAF chapter's Social Media Social. But in the process of getting ready I have also been remiss at making sure YOU all knew about it.

Now don't worry. I haven't turned all "guru" on you. Neither they nor you should expect earth-shattering expertise on the social arts. However, I have been privy to a wealth of insights via the show and I'm going to be sharing some of my top-line thoughts during the event.

And guess what! There will be slides! And not any-old boring slides, but phenomenally streamlined and easy-to-ready slides like only come from creative presentations. Cool, right?

Hopefully I've energized you by the slides alone. But if not, consider also that I won't be alone in sharing. The AAF folks have also enlisted a presenter from Wildfire and an iPhone application developer (Lindsey Johnson) to share some of the work they've done in their respective social spaces.

All-in-all I'd say it's worth your admission price of FREE.

There's even free food for those of you living out of cardboard boxes in this economy. And if you're an AAF member, they're throwing in a drink as well. So you can be drunk AND homeless How 'bout dem apples?
